Essentially a compilation of four years of recording boiled down to ten cuts. Recorded entirely with the wonders of the digital age, Viva Bactra is much more layered than Desoto's earlier, more lo-fi works with more of an instrumental emphasis (though it is still not without the usual literary bent to the songwriting).
